Powertrain
A lift truck has to be tough enough to last for many hours of heavy operation in extreme environments. These machines need to be able to move loads efficiently and fast while still being ergonomic to the operator. The reliable, rugged Yale powertrain provides excellent durability through its computer managed transmission and engine, really strong gears and shafts and state of the art clutch pack. The transmission, engine, drive axle and steer axle are all isolated in order to reduce noise and vibration inside the operator's compartment.

Electrical
The lift trucks electrical system is responsible for linking the major nerve centers of the truck. Therefore, the electrical system in the lift truck must be really durable and reliable for the most demanding cold/hot and dry/wet operations. There is much sophistication needed to be able to control truck functionality.

Hydraulics
The hydraulics are the "muscles" of the forklift. They give the necessary force needed to raise heavy loads during the entirety of a long shift.
